Philippines Baguio Mission 1996-1998

President Hiatt, This weeks stats are not very impressive. As you can tell from out church attendance we are blessed to be serving in a branch. We have no idea why the members are not coming to church. So we know our HT/VT is lower than average so we will try and increase it next week. I want you to know that I love the people of Bantay & San Vicente. I am really enjoying the area and the work. My companion and I (so it seems) are taking turns being sick. We work well together. Hopefully we can be together longer than 6 weeks. All is well.

Dear President Hiatt, This week our stats are pretty average. We didn't get a CSP (Community Service Project) in because my comp and I were both sick. I am alright now but still getting over a cough and sore throat. I dont know what it is, ever since Elder Ewer been my companion I've been sick. I think we're working hard and not eating or sleeping appropriately. I will see what I can do to get better. We are working hard. May God bless us All.

President Hiatt, Well our work was hurt a little this week. I came down with a cold. I am alright now and getting over it. But by the looks of next week we will be busy. We have many discussions scheduled. Companionship; we are doing great. We have no problems. Elder Ewer is really talented. I am thankful for him and all I have. May God bless us all.
